Pocatello, ID - The signees just keep rolling in for Idaho State volleyball as Head Coach Chad Teichert received his fifth NLI of year from Jennika Wright of Utah's Dixie High School. The 5-10 outside hitter earned her third First Team All-State honors in 2009 after leading her team to a State Championship.

"She went to our camp last year so we knew she was a smart girl," said Head Coach Teichert. "She's a good athlete and is pretty versatile, I think she could play anywhere we need her. She also is a former shot putter so she's a strong girl."

Wright also captured a State title in the shot put and the discus her junior and senior seasons. She was named All-State in Track and MVP her sophomore season. Her talents also extend to basketball where she earned All-State and MVP her junior season and helped her team win at Regionals.

The outside hitter will be joining freshmen Lori Mendenhall, Danielle Downs and Kylee Searle as well as JUCO transfer Vanessa Muir for the 2010 season.
