TORRANCE, Calif. – Sasha Kent and
Jenica Dodge shattered their personal records during the first night of the Mt. SAC Relays on Thursday, April 13.

Kent topped her personal record in the 3,000m steeplechase by 14 seconds with a 10:33.38 finish in 10th place. Her performance is the third best in ISU history behind Erica Wendt-Richardson (10:16.91) and Emily Mulick (10:18.54).

Kent's time is the fastest ran by a Big Sky athlete this season by over 10 seconds.

In the 10,000m, Dodge shaved 95 seconds off her personal record. She finished the race in 27th with 34:42.63 on the clock. Dodge's mark is the fastest in the Big Sky Conference this season and the second best time in ISU history. Dodge only trails Bradi Hutchison who ran a 33:22.99 10,000m in 2013.

Ty James competed in the men's 3,000m steeplechase and finished with a time of 9:40.35 in 48th place.
