Bill Evans has announced the signing of Robert Jones III from Northeastern Junior College in Colorado.
"Robert is a terrific person who will provide great athleticism on the wing," Evans said. "He will help us stretch the defense. He is a very skilled big kid and we are excited to have him."
As a sophomore at Northeastern, Jones averaged 14.5 points, 6.5 rebounds and shot 42 percent from the field. In conference play he tallied 17 points a game.
As a freshman, Jones was third-team all-conference and made the all-tournament team. As a sophomore he was second-team all-league and first-team all-tournament.
Jones prepped at Mansfield High School in Mansfield, Ohio.
