FLAGSTAFF, Ariz. - Junior
Brittany Hottel led Idaho State track and field today at the Big Sky Championships when she was named all-conference with her third-place finish in the women's high jump. Hottel cleared a height of 5-07.00. Yesterday, Hottel also competed in the heptathlon.
Sophomore
Katie Nicholls qualified for the finals of the women's 800m run with her sixth-place time of 2:13.49. Nicholls has ranked in the top-three of the conference throughout the entire outdoor season.
Jesse Sorensen is in good position to place in tomorrow's finals. He was the top-qualifier in the men's 400m with a time of 47.16 and the second-place qualifier in the 200m with 21.45. Throughout the season, he has led the conference in both events.
Logan Henderson was fourth in the qualifiers for the men's 400m hurdles. He came in with a time of 52.36, a career best.
