Sorensen and Austin Graves Named to Academic All-District Team

 
POCATELLO, Idaho- For the second straight year Austin Graves and Cody Sorensen have been named to the Capital One Academic All-District first-team as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America. The two now advance to the Capital One Academic All-America Team ballot.

Sorensen and Graves have not only been stellar in the classroom but they have been leaders on the field for the Bengal defense.  Sorensen is fourth on the team in tackles with 63. He has one sack and two interceptions while maintaining a 3.83 grade point average in mechanical engineering.

Graves is fifth on the team in tackles with 51 but he has 9.5 tackles for loss and eight sacks. He boasts a 3.95 GPA and is majoring in philosophy. Graves was also a semi-finalist for the Campbell Trophy.

 To be eligible for Academic All-America® consideration, a student-athlete must be a varsity starter or key reserve, maintain a cumulative G.P.A. of 3.30 on a scale of 4.00, have reached sophomore athletic and academic standings at his/her current institution and be nominated by his/her sports information director.
