Julie Wright has announced the program's 2015 recruiting class. Joining the Bengal softball program for the 2015-16 school year are Mariah Mulcahy, a pitcher from Warren, Oregon; Ashley Morris, an outfielder from Peoria, Ariz.; Reis Birkett, a catcher from Huntington Beach, Calif.; Kaitlyn Spohrer, an outfielder and third baseman from Cedar Park, Texas; Molly Nutt, an outfielder from Sandy, Ore.; and Aubrey Creekmore, an infielder from Middleton, Idaho.

"This is a tremendous class," Wright said. "They are all talented, grounded, and competitive young women. They will be a force their entire careers together. I cannot wait to get them here."

Mariah Mulcahy, Pitcher
Warren, Ore. St Helens HS
Plays for Northwest Blaze travel organizationHigh School Honors and stats: Freshmen year- first-team all-league, Pitcher of the Year in the NWOC, second-team all-state, scholar athlete, voted MVP. Sophomore year- first-team all-league, Pitcher of the Year in the NWOC, second-team all-state, scholar athlete, voted MVP.
Junior year- first-team all-league, Pitcher of the Year in the NWOC, first-team all-state, scholar athlete, third in state, league champions, voted MVP. High school record to date: 50-17-1, 146 IP, 574 K's, 83 BBs, 70 hits with 20 shutouts and 1 no hitter. Junior year-league record- 17-5, 12 shutouts, 223 strikeouts, walked 27 in 146 innings, ERAÂ .58.
