BENGAL OVERVIEWThe men's and women's cross country team travel to Grand Forks, N.D. Saturday, November 1 for the Big Sky Championships hosted by the University of North Dakota. Meet time begins at 11:30 a.m. (MST).
BENGAL LEADERSSenior
Kylie Hutchison led the women's team at three meets during the 2014 season. Hutchison's top-performance was at the Bronco Invitational. She ran a 6k time of 20:27.1.
Sophomore
Ty James led the men's team at three meets this season. James 's top-performance was at the Idaho State Open. He placed first with a 6k time of 19:24.84.
BENGAL WOMEN TO WATCHAt the Bronco Invitational
Audrey Urlacher placed 20th with a 6k time of 21:02.1,
Katie Nicholls finished 28th (21:10.9) and
Sasha Kent placed 40th with a time of 21:30.5.
Presli Hutchison finished 41st (21:30.9),
Carly Hansen finished 81st with a time of 21:58.6 and
Quincy Van Orden wrapped up scoring in 88th with 22:04.1.
BENGAL MEN TO WATCHAt the Bronco Invitational
Ty James finished 67th with a time of 24:46.0,
Tucker Boyd finished 96th (25:13.2) and
Dallin Webb finished with an 8k time of 25:54.0.
Braden Tanner placed 148th with a time of 25:58.2,
Kyle DeGraaff finished in 161st place (26:16.7) and
Oliver Gunther finished with a 8k time of 26:57.6.
2013 BIG SKY CHAMPIONSHIP RESULTS The women finished ninth at the 2013 Big Sky Championships with 224 total points and a combined top-five time of 1:31:43.80. Weber State placed first with 55 points.
Sasha Kent finished with a 21st place finish and three mile time of 17:47.30.
Katie Nicholls was 46th with 18:15.10,
Abigail Ashbee-Simmonds was 67th with 18:53.20 and
Korbin Traughber was 73rd with 19:05.00.
As a team, the men finished sixth with 176 points and a combined top-five time of 2:12:21.98. Northern Arizona won their seventh Big Sky Championship with 25 points.
Jacob Campbell placed 35th with a five mile time of 26:28.13.
Ty James finished 41st with 26:44.33 and
Jake Meeker wrapped up scoring in 44th with 26:54.43.
