BENGAL OVERVIEW
Idaho State Cross Country hosts the Idaho State Invitational Saturday, Sept. 29 at 10 a.m. at the Centennial Course. The Bengals are coming off a break after both the men and women finished fourth at the BYU Autumn Classic with 112 and 104 points, respectively. At the meet, the women were put against Big Sky foe Weber State who finished first with 17 points.
KYLIE HUTCHISON
Sophomore
Kylie Hutchison led the Bengals for the first time at the BYU Autumn Classic with a 14th place finish and time of 18:06.50 in the women's 5K. At last year's Big Sky Championships, Hutchison finished ninth overall with a time of 18:22.56 which ranks 10th on the list of all-time fastest Centennial Course 5K times. Her time of 3K time of 10:37.00 from 2011 ranks ninth on the list of all-time fastest Centennial Course 3K times.
BENGAL WOMEN RECAP
At the BYU Autumn Classic,
Audrey Urlacher came in second for the Bengals with a time of 18:26.30 and finished 21st overall. Urlacher led the Bengals against Southern Utah on Aug. 31 with a second-place finish and time of 10:47.50.
Chloe Palakovich finished next for Idaho State and 24th overall with a time of 18:35.10. Freshmen Katie Nichols and
Sasha Kent rounded out the top-five for Idaho State with times of 18:49.50 and 19:33.40, respectively.
BRYCE JENKINS
Senior
Bryce Jenkins led the Bengal men with a 24th place finish and time of 21:10.40 in the men's four mile run at the BYU Autumn Classic. This is Jenkins's second-straight week leading the Bengal men.
BENGAL MEN RECAP
Sophomore Nicasio Westlund came in second for the Idaho State men at the BYU Autumn Classic with a time of 21:49.20 and finished 40th. Junior transfer
Ray Miller followed Jenkins and Westlund with a 52nd place finish and time of 22:10.50.
KC Hunsicker came in fourth for the Bengals with a time of 22:11.70 and
Jacob Campbell was fifth with a time of 22:46.70.
