RESULTS
OGDEN, Utah - Austin Miller and
Andres Coello both won matches today to send them to tomorrow's semi-finals at the Weber State Invitational. Miller had a first-round bye before defeating Utah State's Matt Thatcher 6-2, 6-2. Coella beat Weber State's Anthony Trabert 6-0, 6-1 and Utah State's Andrew Whiting 6-1, 6-1. Semi-final rounds begin at 10 a.m. tomorrow.
Charles Norman and
Nate Gross advanced to the doubles group A championship round to be played tomorrow at 9 a.m. They defeated Utah State's Sweet and Whiting 8-5 and Weber State's Good and Poitena 8-2. On the group B doubles bracket, Justin Miller and Jamey Swiggert also advanced to the championship round beating Utah State's Nielsen and Thatcher 8-3.
Gross advanced in the consolation bracket after defeating Wearmouth 6-2, 7-6. He meets teammate Krzysztof Stampien in tomorrow's semi-final at 10 a.m.
