PROVO, Utah - Sophomore
Kylie Hutchison led the Bengal women at the BYU Autumn Classic with a 14th place finish and time of 18:06.50 in the women's 5K. As a team, the women finished fourth with 101 points.
Coming in second for the Bengals was junior
Audrey Urlacher in 21st place with a time of 18:26.30 in the women's 5K.
Chloe Palakovich finished 24th with a time of 18:35.10, Kate Nicholls was 29th with 18:49.50 and
Sasha Kent was 40th with 19:33.40.
Callie Kettner,
Laura Porras and
Hayli Worthington also competed for Idaho State.
Last year's Big Sky Champion Amber Henry of Weber State won the meet with a time of 16:58.90. Weber State took the team competition with a score of 17 points.
Bryce Jenkins led the Bengal men for the second straight week with a 24th place finish and time of 21:10.40 in the men's four mile. As a team, the men finished fourth with 112 points.
Nicasio Westlund finished second for Idaho State and 40th overall with a time of 21:49.20.
Ray Miller finished 52nd with a time of 22:10.50,
KC Hunsicker was 53rd with 22:11.70 and
Jacob Campbell was 60th with a time of 22:46.70.
Jared Ward of BYU won the men's four mile with a time of 20:02.70. BYU won the team event with 15 points.
The Bengals return on September 29 to host the Idaho State Invitational. The time is to be announced.
