Bill Evans has announced the signing of Andrej Slavik from Ziar nad Hronom, Slovakia. Slavik, a 6-9, 215 pound forward, is currently competing at Beacon Prep in Houston, Texas where he is averaging 14 points and seven rebound a game. He is also a member of the Slovakia Under-20 National Team.
“He is a little older since he has been at a prep school,” Evans said. “He has good size and a very high skill level for a big kid. We are excited to have him a part of our program.”
The men's basketball program has now signed three to National Letters of Intent as Justin Smith of Colorado Springs, a 6-6, 195 pound wing and Scotty Tyler a 6-7, 205 pound wing from Grafton, Wisc., have already signed with the Bengals for next year.
