Bengals Wrap Up Competition at Boise State Tournament

Seniors Nate Gross and Charles Norman faced off against one another

Idaho State tennis wrapped up competition at the Boise State Fall Classic Sunday.

BOISE, Idaho
– The Idaho State men's tennis team wrapped up competition at the Boise State Fall Classic Sunday. Seniors Nate Gross and Charles Norman faced off against one another Sunday in the semifinal of the orange consolation draw. Norman won the contest to advance to the final against Gonzaga's Levin Guillermo. Norman dropped the final to Guillermo.
 
Norman and Gross also played for the crown in the orange doubles main draw as they faced Hach and Gesser in the final. The ISU duo lost the contest 8-6.
 
Other Bengal competitors included sophomores Krzysztof Stempien, Andres Coello, Austin Miller and freshman Jamey Swiggart. The others played in the first rounds of competition on Friday and Saturday but did not advance to Sunday.
