CEDAR CITY, Utah - Senior
Bryce Jenkins notched his first cross country win of the season with a time of 18:44.60 in the men's 6K at the Color Country Invitational hosted by Southern Utah University. As a team, the men finished third overall with 55 points.
KC Hunsicker came in next for Idaho State finishing fourth overall with a time of 19:03.60.
Ray Miller came in third at 17th place with a time of 19:40.90, Nicasio Westlund was 25th with 20:08.60 and freshman
Blake Davidson finished in the top-five for the first time with his 27th place finish and time of 20:26.90.
Utah Valley University won the men's competition with 38 points.
Kylie Hutchison led the women for the second time this season with her fifth place finish and time of 14:24.80. As a team, the women finished second with 46 points.
Chloe Palakovich followed Hutchison in seventh with a time of 14:30.20.
Audrey Urlacher was eighth with 14:38.10, Katie Nichols was 14th with 14:54.80 and
Callie Kettner was 17th with 15:05.10.
Utah Valley University won the women's team competition with 30 points.
Idaho State cross country returns on Oct. 13 when they travel to Santa Clara, Calif. for the Bronco Invitational. The time is to be announced.
