Bryce Jenkins led the Bengals for the fifth straight week with his fourth place performance and time of 24:02.50 in the men's 8K at the Bronco Invitational hosted by Santa Clara University. As a team, the Bengals finished 15th overall with 296 points.
Ray Miller came in next for Idaho State at 36th place with a time of 24:47.00. Nicasio Westlund finished 92nd with 25:24.20,
Dallin Webb 97th with 25:26.20 and
KC Hunsicker wrapped up scoring for the Bengal with 123rd and 25:44.70.
San Fransisco won the team competition with 146 points. Big Sky foe Sacramento State finished seventh with 208 points.
Audrey Urlacher led the Bengal women for the second time this season with her 22nd place finish and time of 17:43.50 in the women's 5K. As a team, the women finished 13th with 250 points.
Kylie Hutchison followed Urlacher in 44th place with a time of 18:01.50. Also scoring for the Bengals were
Chloe Palakovich in 56th place with 18:11.00,
Callie Kettner in 92nd with 18:33.10 and Kate Nichols in 98th with 18:39.40.
California State San Marcos won the team competition with 104 points. Sacramento State finished 11th with 236 points.
The Bengal return home Saturday, Oct. 20 for the annual Alumni Meet at Centennial Course. The time is to be announced.
