POCATELLO, Idaho David Harrington can now add Phil Steele's and College Sporting News 2011 Post Season FCS All-American honors to the list of his post season accolades. A.J. Storms and Rodrick Rumble were also named to Phil Steele's 2011 Post Season FCS All-American team. Harrington was named to the first-team, Rumble and Storms to the second-team.

These are Harrington's fifth and sixth All-American honors as he was previously named to the AFCA All-American team, the Associated Press first-team, the Sports Network/Fathead.com first team and the Walter Camp All-American team. Rumble garnered College Sports Madness and AP first-team All-American honors while Storms was named to the second-team Associated Press All-American squad.

It is only the fifth time in program history that the Bengals have had three or more players named to an All-American team in the same season.

Harrington, a two-time first-team All Big Sky Conference member, leaves Idaho State as the best punter to ever wear the orange and black. The Bengal punter finished his two-year career with the best punting average in Big Sky history with an average of 46.29 yards a kick.  The Big Sky record was held by Eddie Johnson who averaged 46.27 yards a kick during his two-year career from 2001-02. He also had the best single-season average for a punter this year as he averaged 48.7 yards a punt. good for the top mark in the nation. He had a career-best 70-yard punt and 29 punts of 50-yards or more.

Harrington, who was a Preseason All-American, also earned All-American honors in 2010 and he is the sixth kicker/punter in Idaho State history to be named to an All-American team and he is only the fifth Bengal to be a two-time All-American.  Ed Bell (1968-69), Josh Hays (1995-96), Pete Garces (1998-99) and Jared Allen (2002-03) are the only Bengals who have earned the honor as a two-time All-American.

This is Rumble's third All-American honor of the season. He set the school and Big Sky record for receptions with 112 to go along with 1,348 receiving yards, the second-best mark in Idaho State history. The Bengal junior, who also earned first-team all-conference honors this year, recorded nine touchdowns and had the third-best single-game performance in Idaho State history with his 218 receiving yards at Washington State.

For the third straight year Storms finished with over 100 tackles to lead ISU defensively. He set the career-tackle record with 434 for his career, breaking Mike Calley's record of 414. He earned All Big Sky honors for his final three years.
