POCATELLO, Idaho - Idaho State Director of Athletics Jeff Tingey announced a partnership with Idaho Central Credit Union, on Monday, November 8. This partnership with ICCU will allow a new basketball court at Holt Arena to be built. Idaho Central Credit Union will own naming rights for the court at Holt and Reed Gym. The partnership is a substantial four year investment.
“I am extremely pleased with the increased partnership between Idaho State University Athletics and Idaho Central Credit Union,” Tingey said. “Their investment in ISU Athletics, and more importantly in our student-athletes, is wonderful and will be enjoyed by many. Many gracious thanks go out to Idaho Central Credit Union and its employees.”
The new court will be designed by the ISU athletic department and unveiled to fans this season.
Once football season is over, the Bengal men's basketball team plays a majority of their games in the 8,000 seat arena. Basketball games have been played at Holt since 1970 and ISU currently has a record of 288-125 in games play at Holt.
