2009 Spring Big Sky Conference All-Academic Team 
Ogden, UT-Idaho State had Bengals named to the Big Sky 2009 Spring All-Academic selections Monday afternoon. The Bengals have had 102 players announced through the fall, winter and spring All-Academic teams for the 2008-09 season.
To be eligible, a student-athlete must have met and/or exceeded the following minimum requirements: 1) Participated in at least half of the team's competitions; 2) Achieved a 3.2 cumulative grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) at the conclusion of the most recently completed term; 3) Completed at least one academic term at his/her current Big Sky institution.
During 2008, Idaho State had 33 spring honorees with women's outdoor track and field posting 20 selections alone. This season, Montana State leads the Big Sky with 47 winter selections followed by Eastern Washington with 45. Weber State posted the third most winter All-Academic honorees with 37, followed by Montana with 36. As a conference, 289 student-athletes were selected.
