Keisha Fisher enters her sixth season as an assistant coach at Idaho State.

Fisher joined the Bengals in 2012 and has played a major role in reviving the program and developing ISU into one of the top programs in the Big Sky Conference. Fisher has helped the Bengals to four-straight trips to the Big Sky Conference Tournament with four-consecutive championship appearances highlighted by a trip to the NCAAs in 2013 and a regular-season championship in 2014.

During Fisher’s first season with the Bengals in 2012, the Bengals reached their highest win total since 2003. Idaho State finished with 23 wins and reached the championship game of the Big Sky Conference Tournament for the first time since 1995. In that same season, Idaho State went 10-0 at home, completing the first undefeated home campaign since 1987.

During Fisher’s tenure, Idaho State has produced two Big Sky Conference MVPs in Lori Mendenhall-Lee and Tressa Lyman as well as multiple all-conference performers including nine first-team selections. Fisher works primarily with setters and passers and is responible for organizing team travel, recruiting and managing equipment.

Fisher joined the Bengals after a successful four-year career at the University of Utah. Fisher was a four-year starter for the Utes and was a team captain her junior and senior seasons. She was named Mountain West Conference Libero of the Year in 2010 and was named to the Mountain West All-Academic team from 2007-2009. She currently holds the Utah all-time career digs record with 1,608 career digs.
 
Aside from her playing career, Fisher was also the head coach for the Utah Juniors in 2011 and 2012. In 2012, she took the team to the Junior Olympics in Columbus, Ohio and the AAU Nationals in Orlando, Florida. In 2009 she coached the Mount Olympus club team.
 
Fisher also helped put on volleyball camps at the University of Utah from 2007-11 and also aided the Mike Welch Volleyball camps at the Apple Athletic Club in Idaho Falls, Idaho in 2009 and 2011.
 
Fisher was also a lead instructor in Aqua tone, stretch and strengthen, and personal training for the University of Utah Exercise and Sport Science program. She was a swim instructor from 2005-06 at Heise Hot Springs and has acted as a ski and snowboard instructor at Kelly Canyon Ski Resort in her free time.
 
Fisher earned a bachelor’s degree in exercise and sport science with an emphasis in fitness leadership and a minor in coaching in 2012. She has one son, Roczen, who is nine months old.
