7/29/10 - Men's Track
Six Bengals Named USTFCCCA 2010 All-Academic Honorees
Pocatello, ID - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) named six Bengals to the Division I All-Academic Track and Field Team Thursday afternoon. Sam Pierson, John Ricardi and Eric Strand were named to the men's team while Kylee Gleason, Cassie Merkley and Erica Wendt-Richardson were named to the women's team. (more)
Sam Pierson, a pole vaulter, earned his third consecutive All-Academic Honor from the USTFCCCA.

Bengal Softball Has the Wright Stuff
Pocatello, ID --- Julie Wright, who spent the previous four seasons at Wisconsin including two as the associate head coach and has also served as the head coach at the University of Akron, has been named as the seventh head coach in the history of the Idaho State softball program, announced Director of Athletics Jeff Tingey. Bengal Volleyball Hires Gorny as Second Assistant Coach
Pocatello, ID -- The Idaho State volleyball program will have the opportunity to learn from one of its top players in Bengal history with the hire of Ali Gorny by Head Coach Chad Teichert. Gorny will serve as Teichert's second assistant coach under David Hyte. In addition to working directly with the athletes, she will be responsible for preparation and coordination of video, travel preparations and equipment management. (more)
